Tumalo Cider Co. makes the best semi-dry ciders I’ve had in the US. I’d rank McMenamin’s ciders second. Since the Tumalo Cider Co. tasting room is one of my favorite spots in Central Oregon, I caught up with the owner, Jeff Bennet, for a chat on a sunny Saturday this spring.

Tony’s converted me to the ways of crab sandwiches (if you can believe it, I used to think I didn’t like crab). It’s not visually impressive; just a little white structure with a red roof, right off the Bandon Boardwalk. But oh, man, the food is so good.
